About ByteKit

ByteKit is a free collection of 154+ online utilities for developers, writers, designers, and anyone who works with code, text, numbers, images, or PDFs — from JSON and diff tools to calculators, image editors, and a PDF toolkit.

Privacy-first by design

Every tool runs entirely in your browser. The text, files, and numbers you put into a tool are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to a server — there are no accounts, no logins, and no tracking of your inputs. A few tools fetch public resources to function (for example, live exchange rates for the currency converter, or an in-browser AI model for background removal), but your data stays local.

Free & fast

ByteKit is supported by advertising so the tools can stay permanently free. Heavy features are loaded only when you use them, keeping pages quick and responsive. The app works in light and dark mode, remembers your recent and pinned tools locally, and includes a command palette to jump to any tool.
