Privacy Policy
ByteKit operates bytekit.tools. We built ByteKit to be privacy-first: the tools run entirely in your browser. This policy explains what little data is involved and how it is handled.
What we do not collect
The content you enter into a tool — text, code, numbers, images, and PDF files — is processed locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. We have no accounts, no logins, and we do not collect, sell, or share the data you process. Some tools fetch public resources to work (for example live exchange rates, or an in-browser AI model for background removal); these requests do not include your tool inputs.
Data stored on your device
For convenience, ByteKit saves a few preferences in your browser local storage — your theme choice, your recent and pinned tools, and your cookie/ads consent choice. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us; you can clear it any time via your browser.
Advertising & cookies
ByteKit is supported by advertising so the tools stay free. Google AdSense serves ads to visitors outside Russia & Belarus and the Yandex Advertising Network serves visitors in Russia & Belarus; partners may set cookies to show and measure ads. In the EU, UK, and Switzerland we ask for consent before loading personalized advertising.
Hosting & security
The site is delivered through Cloudflare's global network, which processes technical data such as your IP address and approximate country to deliver the site, route regional ads, and protect against abuse.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR), you have rights to access, correct, or erase personal data and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold accounts or store your inputs, most data lives on your own device. For any request, contact us at hello@bytekit.tools.
