Blur Fit (Square / Story / Reel)
Fit a landscape or portrait photo — or a video — into a square, 4:5, or 9:16 frame without cropping. Fill the empty space with a blurred copy of the image, a solid color, or a gradient, adjust the blur and padding, add a border, and batch multiple photos at once. The video mode renders the same blur-fit look with FFmpeg in your browser. The clean “no-crop” look for Instagram feed posts, Reels, and Stories.
How to use Blur Fit (Square / Story)
- Pick Image or Video mode and upload your file (drop several photos to batch).
- Choose a frame (square, 4:5, or 9:16 story).
- Pick a background — blurred, solid color, or gradient — and adjust blur, photo size, and dimming.
- Optionally add a photo border, then download (single, ZIP, or rendered MP4).
Frequently asked questions
- Can I blur-fit a video?
- Yes. Switch to Video mode and upload a clip — it renders the same blurred-background fit with FFmpeg entirely in your browser (the engine downloads once, ~31 MB) and exports an MP4. Audio is kept.
- Why use a blurred background instead of cropping?
- It keeps your whole photo visible while still filling the frame the platform expects, so nothing important gets cut off. You can also choose a solid color or gradient fill instead of the blur.
- Can I process several photos at once?
- Yes — in Image mode, drop in multiple photos, switch between them with the thumbnails, and use “Download all” to export every image at the chosen frame as a ZIP.
- What size is the export?
- Each preset exports at full social resolution — 1080×1080 for square, 1080×1350 for 4:5, 1080×1920 for Stories and Reels, and 1920×1080 for landscape.
